What is Cannabidiol?

Cannabidiol (also known as hemp extract), is a phytocannabinoid found in agricultural hemp which has been recognized for its benefits on human and animal health and is capable of affecting nearly every biological process. It is non-intoxicating (i.e. it does not result in feelings of euphoria) and has an extremely safe profile. In addition to the main body functional systems, there is also an endocannabinoid system (ECS) and Cannabidiol plays a critical role in that as well. In order to stimulate the ECS we add Cannabidiol externally via quality supplements delivering it in its most natural form.

Why are our hemp extracts better? 

Botanical oils are extracted through use of different types of solvents generally separated in 3 large groups depending on what they dissolve: oil soluble compounds, alcohol soluble compounds and water soluble compounds. Using the right solvent is of major importance for extraction of the TRUE full spectrum strain specific oil.

Each industry selects its solvent base on the compound to be extracted. A chemist will tell you that polarity of a solvent is very important for extraction selectivity as similar extract similar as example non polar solvents extract non polar compounds what usually the light oils are. To put some metric into it for the extraction of botanical oils it is best to use solvents with dielectric constant less than 15, extracting alcohol soluble use solvents with dielectric constant of 15 – 50 and extracting water soluble over 50.

For example the use of polar compounds as steam (water) or CO2 have never been an efficient method for extraction of botanical oils. Extractions with non polar R134a (used in our technology for extraction) is the only way to preserve all the natural oils as they exist in the plant without additional post processing with chemicals or introduction of after tastes and getting a completely natural full-spectrum extract with all components to produce so called “entourage effect”

Why are our products different? 

Before we answer this question let’s get through the basics. There are three main categories of products on the market:

1. Those created from hemp derived isolate (a single-molecule cannabidiol processed with hexane and heptane);
2. Products made with distillates of the industrial hemp extracts (extracts are processed with chemicals and their vitality denatured or exposed in extreme temperatures which affects the consistency of fragile elements like cannabinoids, terpenes, etc. extracted from the plant);
3. Products made with full-spectrum hemp concentrate containing full range of the elements found in the plant (best products).

Majority of the products found on the market today are created by the use of isolate (least favorable). All our products are created using the finest strain specific full spectrum and terpenes rich concentrates with preserved natural elements of the plant as we extract them without a temperature or chemical degradation.

What is Cannabidiol Isolate?

It is a sub-product of the hemp extract created after multiple toxic chemicals treatments of the extract. Through thIt is a sub-product of the hemp extract created after multiple toxic chemical treatments to the extract. Through that process all of the very beneficial plant compounds (like flavors, fragrances, etc.) are lost.

What you are left with is pure single-molecule cannabidiol which is then used to create final products. There are around 3000 terpenes known in the world, around 400 of those are found in the cannabis/hemp plant and 70 of them are part of the the cannabinoids derived from the hemp flower which are lost during the process of creating isolate, thus many of the benefits of the plant are lost. Most cheap CBD products and THC free products are made with isolate due the lack of knowledge or high expense on how to remove the THC from the natural extract. As a single molecule the cannabidiol is very oftenly derived synthetically (the standard big pharma approach) and has no natural origin.

What is Hemp Distillate?

Distillate is derived from industrial hemp extract which is chemically treated with ethanol or other toxic materials like isopropyl alcohol, heptane, hexane, etc. to additionally purify and make the oil more pleasant to the eye and remove additional colors, waxes, lipids and others. After chemical treatment the solution is run through an additional process to separate the chemicals used. As a final step, the extract goes through fractional distillation under high temperature (165-210 C) to create a more pleasant to the eye substance with the goal of creating a “clear” colorless concentrate. By the time all those processes are completed, most of the natural compounds found in the plant are fully eliminated and whatever is left is altered from its natural state.

Our Full Spectrum oil is at an average of 70-80% cannabinoid profile and 1-5% terpenes and provides the formulator with a natural full spectrum of all available converted cannabinoids and terpenes in the plant. Our Broad Spectrum oil is at an average of 70-80% cannabinoid profile and 1-5% terpenes and provides the formulator with a natural no THC extract with all available converted cannabinoids and terpenes in the plant.
